HOLE 3
The Third at St Mellion is a par four with an intimidating slope which disappears to the right. And thereÆs not much room to the left,
where thereÆs a steep upward slope. Your drive from the tee should take these slopes into account. A long fairway bunker is set to trap
the straighter drive, while a smaller pot bunker is beautifully placed to catch a more cautiously directed ball. Some challenge!
The green is defended by three well-placed bunkers . . . but thereÆs plenty of room at the back, beyond the pin. The green is fairly flat,
which should help, if you end up with a long putt.
